Morning is often my time for meditation and reflection. This morning, as the rain fell softly outside, I took some time in silence. Still with me was the podcast shared by Helen of Tim Merry talking at a recent Art of Hosting about the Chaordic Stepping Stones. Dropping in at a deeper level this time is the idea of not letting limiting beliefs stop me. When I have great passion and purpose, what stands in the way? Why have so many ideas been just visions of what could be? I must begin to live my purpose and to discern where my gifts intersect with the needs of the world.
Sensing into the field is also a way to know what is needed now. And I can do that daily as part of my morning practice. What are the questions? What are the questions we don’t even know yet or don’t know to ask? What are the questions of the Future emerging through us?
This harkens back to a recent conversation between Helen and Ria and I. It seems to be a way of sensing into the next Women Moving the Edge. And as Helen said, even as we sense and know purpose going into the gathering, we must continue to sense into the field, to birth new purpose during the gathering,
and even sense more as we emerge on the other end. Purpose evolves in the process of future emerging. There is a Collective Presencing as Ria says.
Today I revisited Social Artistry and all that Jean Houston is birthing. Now Jean is someone whose passion is continually meeting with the needs in the real world. I never cease to be amazed as wise words just flow about ”Creating the Possible Human”. So much of who Jean is and what she is impulsing in the world is of this “wholeness of knowing”, and there is no holding back. She does not know limitation. And so much of what she said in this one call speaks of purpose, passion, and how we are called to serve and to be who we are, to bring out gifts to the needs of the world.
We are training for the unknown and the inexplicable. We are the fetus of the emerging human self (Self) (of the future emerging). And this wholeness of knowing, in ways that we cannot yet imagine is calling for integrating and including all that we are and can be. There can be no holding back. Jean talks of synesthesia, a kind of cross-sensing. We learn to hear color, to touch the texture of music, to taste sublte feeling, to smell the movement of time. We learn to move beyond the 5 senses and to embody fully our senses of knowing, our sensing into knowing, to be all that is emerging through us individually and collectively.
So we as women are learning not to hold back, not to be limited by ions of collective limiting beliefs. We are at the edge where passion meets the needs of the world. We are moving the edge. Through sensing into our wholeness, trusting our inner knowing, collectively presencing, we are learning and birthing the inexplicable. We are in a kind of training and preparing the way, the grooves in consciusness so that more may follow those chaodic stepping stones that Tim spoke of so eloquently. The time is now.
